Background: https://typemoon.fandom.com/wiki/Ritsuka_Fujimaru

Personality: Ritsuka is described as completely ordinary and unremarkable in every way. Just a regular Japanese boy who had a completely normal life growing in regular Japanese society without any knowledge of the existence of magic or mage society. For the most part, this is true. For all that he’s described this way though, he can be a little strange sometimes. A lot of his dialogue options tend to be a little goofy at best and he often takes things in stride way too easily. It seems like almost nothing phases him and he always keeps a cool head regardless of how bad things get. But if someone who needs help is in front of him, he’s certainly not going to just stand there and not do anything about it.

His alignment is described as Lawful Neutral, but the Fate franchise's use of the D&D style alignments has always been a bit wonky. The Lion King Describes him as “Someone who knows good, but commits evil and allows evil while being good.” But let’s keep in mind that that’s the Lion King, who’s moral compass is pretty weird herself. One could say he’s a very open minded and non-judgmental person who tends to tolerate way more than most other people, even if he’s dealing with servants that have done really awful things in the past, both to him and others. His willingness to get along with and put up with so many different types of people is why he’s able to command such a large and varied number of servants at one time. Just because he tolerates them though, does not mean he’s going to let some of the nonsense they pull go without comment. Despite not really disliking Moriarty, he never misses the opportunity to call the old man shady or teasing Romani along with Mash and Da Vinci, among other things.

During events in the game, he frequently ends up going with the flow of whatever shenanigans are currently being committed by his servants and will sometimes even use the situation to his advantage to help them in some way. A good example of that would be the Christmas event in which Jeanne Alter Santa Lily first appeared. When he realized that Janta was likely to disappear at the end of the even due to her rather convoluted origins, he secretly got several other servants to orchestrate events in a convoluted but ultimately successful plan to ground her spirit origin so it wouldn’t happen. He tends to have a pretty good intuition when it comes to what his servants need and for all these reasons he’s pretty well liked by all the servants of Chaldea.
All this being said, there have been people in canon who have questioned exactly how unflapable he seems to be. There are hints in the later story arcs, mainly the Lostbelts, that Ritsuka isn’t nearly as cool with everything as he first seems. Given enough pressure even he can reach his limit and during a later events in the game, as well as according to other outside media like Moonlight/Lostroom, there are hints all over the place that he’s actually quite a bit more traumatized by his experiences than he lets on. He just feels that he can’t really afford to deal with it since he needs to be strong for everyone else’s sake and that it’s his duty to just bare with it.

Huh. First I get “invited” to join some strange organization and now I find this weird network.

So, this is a social network that connects to other worlds? Well, since I just got done learning about magic and those guys were talking about protecting human history or something like that, there’s not a whole lot I’m not willing to believe at this point. A lot of interesting things sure have been happening to me lately. And all I did was take a blood test too. I guess that’s what I get for complaining about being bored.

Oh well, I guess it can’t be helped. I’ll introduce myself then. My name is Ritsuka Fujimaru and I’m18 years old. Just graduated from High School this year and instead of working on my college entrance exams like I was planning to, I seem to have been recruited for a job already, for something called Chaldea Security Organization.

Anyway, since they just got done giving me a crash course on magecraft and I’m now on the plane heading for their headquarters I guess I’ve got some time to kill, so I figured it wouldn’t hurt to make a post. Anything unusual happen to anyone else around here recently?
